Lepoh Waterfall Hiking Trail
How to get to Lepoh Waterfall
To reach Lepoh Waterfall, you need to start the hike near Asli Adventure Camp. Just head to the end of the road and you’ll find the trail entrance on the right side of the signboard. You can park your vehicle by the roadside. Parking fee will be collected: RM5 per car / RM3 per motorbike.
P.S. Don’t set your Google Maps destination to Lepoh Waterfall or else it will lead you to the wrong place. Remember to set your destination as Asli Adventure Camp instead. It will lead you to enter this road.
By Bus
Did you know you can also take RapidBus KL to hike Lepoh Waterfall? First, take the MRT to Taman Suntex station. Then, walk over to the bus stop ‘KJ38 Taman Suntex’ (note: it’s not the one nearest to the MRT station).
Get on the bus no.T406 and drop off at ‘Lubuk Manggis’ bus stop. The bus trip will take around 20-30 minutes early in the morning when there are few passengers (less stops). Walk about less than 30 minutes from the bus stop to Asli Adventure Camp.
Hike to Lepoh Waterfall
8.27am: As soon as you enter the trailhead, there will be a bridge/river to cross.
Before crossing the bridge, take a look at your left and notice the huge rock wall.
(+1)8.28am: Right after the bridge, there are three split ways. Take the middle one (crossing the second bridge).
(+1)8.29am: Along the way, just follow the paths with visible markers (eg. orange stickers, red & white strips).
(+2)8.31am: After passing a stream, at the split road, take the path to the right. The other paths are used by the Orang Asli, as they have farms around the area.
Going up the cement road (some shoes would be slippery going down here).
There are several split paths. In general, take mostly left, or the ones that are widest and most obvious.
(+19) 8.50am: When you reach an area with lots of rubber trees with buckets attached on the left (looked abandoned), take the main path to the right.
(+3)8.53am: Crossing an open area with many durian trees by the slope on the left. You can hear the loud sound of the river on the left but it is not visible from here.
(+8)9.01am: The ending of Orang Asli’s farm area and the starting of hiking trails.
(+15)9.16am: The trails are mostly uphill but not too intense as there are many less steep recovery points. There is only one brief point with continuous steep climb.
(+3)9.18am: When you reach the large water pipe, follow the road along it.
Unique looking flowers.
(+35)9.55am: Reached Lepoh Waterfall

There were also a lot of fish swimming around the pool.
A fig tree by the pool, with fruits growing on the trunk.
I got to know from a hiker, that after crossing the waterfall pool, you could hike further up to a peak, of a mountain called Gunung Lentang Lenggong. The journey would be steep and slippery, with a lot of leeches. The distance is like the trailhead to Lepoh Waterfall but due to the elevation and difficulty, It would take around 3 to 4 hours to reach the peak.

Leave no trash behind and take back only photos and memories (and also some trash if you can). Walk on the designated path and stay in the middle as much as you can, so that the exposed soil doesn’t spread/corrode further. BE ONE WITH NATURE *flies away*
