Lesmurdie Falls Forrestfield Western Australia

Lesmurdie Falls, Mundy Regional Park, Forrestfield, WA

Lesmurdie Falls is located in Mundy Regional Park, situated in between the suburbs of Forrestfield and Lesmurdie. It is accessible by car, and also by Perth public transport (with a bit of walking from the bus stop to the trailheads).

Lesmurdie Falls Trails

As the name suggests, Lesmurdie Falls is the main attraction point of the regional park. There are multiple trails taking hikers to different parts and viewpoints of the waterfall. Also to take note: Lesmurdie Falls usually flows during the wet seasons of spring and winter, but the water runs dry in the summer and most of autumn. So plan your trip accordingly if you want to see the waterfall. The fall is strongest after a heavy rain in the winter.

Lesmurdie Brook Loop

10.57am: While walking towards Lesmurdie Falls Car Park on Falls Road after getting down the bus at George Road, I noticed a little trailhead (part of Lesmurdie Brook Loop) by the road. The map (installed next to the trailhead) shows it reaches Lesmurdie Falls trails. I entered the trail and it was pretty nice with the flowing stream that fed the waterfall.
