Moreover, this \u2018tall hill\u2019 shall not be underestimated, as it could easily be tougher than the neighboring\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/meowtainpeople.com\/zh\/gunung-nuang-via-pangsun-vs-janda-baik\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gunung Nuang via Janda Baik<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Although the peak is located in Selangor, the most common and shortest route (~5km one way) is via Janda Baik, in Bentong, Pahang. In this case, you have to contact\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/zjQ2MMy5unk9WeM68\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bentong District Forest Office<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0directly to apply for the permit. The staff might share with you a contact number of the officer who handles the permit applications. The worst part was coming down before the stream crossing, it was the steepest and most slippery, with almost nothing to hold on to.
