The famous Uluru, previously also known by its colonial name, Ayers Rock, is a massive sandstone monolith, rising 348 meters above the desert with a base circumference of over 9 kilometers. Still, the sections where I can take photos are still superb, and you\u2019ll have to come and see for yourself for the ones in the sensitive areas.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will need to buy a pass to enter Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. You can buy the pass online or from the park\u2019s entrance. The minimum is a 3-day pass and that is a good amount of time to spend here. I recommend spending at least one full day on Uluru and another on Kata Tjuta.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-756430d6 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"756430d6\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-1d4e64ae\" data-id=\"1d4e64ae\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2346057d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"2346057d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Accommodation At Ayers Rock Resort, Yulara<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-846bae9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"846bae9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The small tourist town of Yulara is an unincorporated enclave, and it\u2019s a base to stay nearest to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park about 20km away. While there are many accommodations with different hotel names, they are all under the same company of Ayers Rock Resort (except for the luxury camp Longitude 131).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Those who are looking for the most budget option in Yulara might opt for the Ayers Rock Campground but do read the reviews first. When I was looking for accommodations the existing reviews of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/Qveg63sQwBi5BQZW8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ayers Rock Campground<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> were quite bad, but looking at the reviews now, it seems like things have improved a lot. Anyway, when comparing the prices with the hostel (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.agoda.com\/partners\/partnersearch.aspx?pcs=1&amp;cid=1880089&amp;hid=61800466\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Outback Lodge<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) that I stayed at, it\u2019s only $5-$10 difference. I took the bus to the nearby camel farm to have a look.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element The full 7.4km circuit features stony, rugged and isolated trails through spectacular lookouts and a shaded windtunnel valley that takes you to a whole new environment.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unfortunately, this whole hike is in the culturally sensitive zone, where I cannot take any photos that include the rock formations.
